The story of how I got here is undulating and unlikely. It passes through Cape Town, the trading floor of the world’s biggest bank, an award winning holistic medical spa in the North Georgia mountains and a small bioenergetic remedy company called Energetix. The sum of these experiences was a deep desire to make a positive difference to an industry doing objective good in the world.
By 2009 it became increasingly clear that healthcare in America is not a meritocracy, and holistic medicine needs firepower and a leveler playing field if it is to lead the charge towards a sustainable healthcare system. That firepower is branding, digital marketing and social media and thus, Revive was born. Since 2009, it has been a pleasure to write, teach and guide practitioners to more effective ways to bring their message to life.
Helping others to discover their passions and individuality is what I thrive on. Each one of us is here to bring a unique perspective to the world but uncovering that and feeling confident on how to develop it into a tangible message is not always easy. I know this from my own personal experience and have helped others to find it for themselves. For me this is what branding is all about; it's connecting with your passions and personal truth and then finding the best way to communicate it.
My experience with branding and marketing was developed through growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, my mother a massage therapist and my father a restauranteur. Being raised in natural health and learning the ins and outs of creating a cohesive message that restaurants need to be successful, has fueled my passion to help others get clear on how they present themselves. My vision is to work with others to develop their brand and their story to reach the people who will benefit from their services.
I have grown up in the health field, being a daughter of a third generation healer and having worked as a support system for health practitioners and companies since the age of 15. Therefore, I feel comfortable in the world of holistic medicine. When I began my ownventure into the world of health as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Health Coach, I discovered a much needed blessing through the services of Revive.
Having personal experience as an entrepreneur in the world of health and wellness, I know how overwhelming and challenging the details of marketing and communication can be. Working with Revive has allowed me to combine my passion of nutrition and teaching, and in turn help spread peace of mind to other practitioners.

I would like to thank Rachel and James Maskell and Revive NYC for an excellent job well done! I first heard about Revive when I was listening to a Designs For Health educational teleconference which featured James Maskell. He was describing the importance of using Social Media outlets as it related specifically to the natural health care practitioner. Truthfully, I do not like to participate in any social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. I find that it is a boring extra chore, besides all of the other things I have to do, and increases my facetime with my computer which I am determined to limit as much as possible- I rather be gathering medicinal plants in the woods! Revive’s great service has allowed me to be part of the social media revolution, which , from a business perspective, I understand is paramount to sustainable growth, without being personally engaged for large amounts of time on a daily basis. In addition, they have been instrumental in supporting me though education so that I understand what I need to about this ever evolving field. They gave my website a much needed facelift, take care of daily updates on Facebook and Twitter, designed a wonderful ‘landing page’ ( whatever that is) and have definitely increased my customer and public interaction base, as promised!
Knowing that I needed to be able to reach a wider audience of people seeking alternative health propelled me towards calling upon the skilled individuals within Revive. I knew they had the understanding of how this audience was thinking and also how I was thinking and were able to mold the 2 together. Revive went above and beyond my expectations. They created a clean yet power packed website based on hours of them researching what it is that makes us stand apart from others in this field.
Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the website that the Revive NYC staff created for me. I absolutely love it! I am still completing my ND degree and I had no idea what to expect when I decided to create a website prior to my degree completion. I was so impressed with all the help and encouragement I received. As they probably found out early on, I had a very limited knowledge of computers! With limited computer skills, I had to be a web designer's worst nightmare. Revive NYC was so patient with me. They worked with me on content, colors, pictures, typeface and everything else that goes into creating a website.
Observing Rachel and James at workshops, then seeing their interactive manner with others and deep partnership with each other made it easy to approach them about updating my website. Rachel was punctual, timely and listened well. Once she discovered who I was Rachel and Co. created various possibilities for design. That process gave me an opportunity to see what I wanted and separated out clearly what I didn’t want. The development continued gaining shape, focus and interest until Viola! an idea was transformed into a reality.
